Former Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde is another option for Leeds United if Marcelo Bielsa leaves Elland Road.
The Telegraph reported on Friday that Leeds United could consider bringing in former Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde, 57. As his next manager if Mar. Zelo Bielsa cuts interest in leaving Elland Road
Bielsa, 66, is under pressure. After the Yung Thong team is only 6 points from the relegation zone. So there may be a change in the local ‘Elland Road’ as well. Before it was report that Victor Orta, the management of the Yung Thong team, knew spanish football as well. Which has the name Valverde is one of the options if the Argentine manager leaves the ufabet club.
Valverde has a wealth of experience, having work as a trainer at Athletic Bilbao, Espanyol, Olympiakos, Villarreal, Valencia but the 57-year-old has been out of work since he was hire. Barcelona sacked in mid-January 2020.
Over recent months, it has been suggest that Valverde might like his next job to come in the Premier League having already rack up seven jobs in La Liga.
And according to The Telegraph, Leeds United could be interest in hiring him.
Marcelo Bielsa remains in place at Elland Road, but he is under pressure with the Whites just five points above the relegation zone.
Leeds chief Victor Orta knows the Spanish market well, being a Spaniard, and Valverde could be an interesting appointment, if indeed Bielsa does leave.
