Real Betis loanee Antony has revealed that personal problems have affected his performances at Manchester United.

After moving to Spain, he has been in excellent form, scoring four goals and providing four assists in 16 games in all competitions, while playing for the Red Devils, he has only scored 12 goals and provided five assists in 96 games, with Antony revealing that personal problems have had a huge impact.
“I think apart from my football life, my personal life also had a lot of problems because of what I had to go through during my time there,” Antony told ESPN Brazil of his time at United.
“Whether you like it or not, it has had a huge impact on me. Of course I know my potential. It wasn’t luck that I went to the World Cup or got a big transfer fee to United. I know my value.”
